The Priest and the Boy

from Wake Up in L.A. by Jean Koning

/

lyrics

Well, there is just this little priest
Who needs a boy to be released
And, well, you know, he took him back
And tried to cover all his tracks
And then he stroked his lovely hair
And felt ashamed for his despair
But you know what it’s all about
Even though they weren’t very loud

One day the boy just had enough
And boy, he turned out to be tough
He made a victim of the priest
Who needs a boy to be released
The boy went shouting out his name
And the Lord’s name in all his vain
And took the priest to his little hole
And then, well, he just lost control

It’s a tale as old as time

And there he lay, the little priest
Took no more boys to be released
But God will look the other way
If he should feel like boy some day
